The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is a prestigious undergraduate program designed to produce highly skilled dental professionals. They rotate through specialised departments including conservative dentistry and endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, periodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and paedodontics. This varied clinical exposure ensures graduates are competent across all dental disciplines.

The final year and internship period consolidate clinical skills through intensive patient management. Students handle complex cases, develop treatment plans, and perform procedures independently under supervision. Many universities also offer elective rotations in cosmetic dentistry, implantology, and laser dentistry, preparing students for the evolving landscape of dental care.
